I love my job! I love that I get to help people make their jobs easier. The Rolodex, a long-time staple of any business office. The problem with the old Rolodex is that they take up a lot of space, the cards inside get worn out, and then it becomes difficult and cumbersome to flip through it. Then you buy a new one and not only have you wasted money on a little plastic box but you also have to rewrite the information on the new cards. Why? You should be able to quickly and easily call a pharmacy, referral doctor, or order your pizza for lunch without having to move a pile of charts or flip through a bunch of cards to do it. The contact list in Practice-Web will resolve this problem for you.
To access the contact list, click on the List menu, then Contacts.
The contact list allows you to customize your categories based on your practice’s preference. It also allows you to enter all of the important details for this contact such as hours of operation or the name of your favorite delivery driver if this is a place you regularly order lunch from.
