CDA Presents The Art and Science of Dentistry is usually held twice each year, in Southern California in the spring and Northern California in the fall.

The fall CDA convention typically brings in around 15,000 people each September, including over 6,000 exhibitors, 4,000 dentists, and 3,000 assistants, plus nearly 2,000 hygienists. The dental convention is expected to provide lots of CE and skill-building courses, Q&A sessions, and a virtual exhibit hall.
